This is how I want to start this story, with the sentence written on a plaque on a bench in the Municipality of Bagnolo.

This time, more than others, I can't find the words to write this wedding, I'm too involved.

What we witnessed is not easily describable. Perhaps for the first time in a marriage there was an air of freedom, beyond traditions, customs and the usual done this way.

When the only thing that matters is love everything else becomes superfluous.

 

Valerio and Alfredo were the first couple to celebrate a civil union in the Municipality of Bagnolo, in Piedmont, in the wonderful setting of the HISTORICAL COMPLEX of the MALINGRI CASTLE in BAGNOLO.

I return home enriched as never before, happy and moved to have been part of this, to have seen a part of my family again after 30 years, and honored to have witnessed through my images the true meaning of Family.
